OLLI Member Perks | As part of OLLI at ASU membership, exclusive discounts are developed in collaboration with a variety of our community partners across the valley. From free admission days to discounted tickets at a variety of art, cultural, and educational organizations, we work with our partners to increase the overall value of membership for our community. Check on this page for member-exclusive discounts and opportunities for this coming semester.

Member ID Cards | Annual and fall semester members will receive their member ID card by the end of September, and spring semester members will receive theirs by the end of February. Bring your member ID card with you and present it at the counter to take advantage of discounts with our select partners!

    From now through Dec. 30th, OLLI at ASU members get a discounted price of $7 per person for admission into the museum. Bring your OLLI Member ID to and present it at the front desk to take advantage of this offer! 

    S’eḏav Va’aki Museum, located on a 1,500-year-old village site once inhabited by the Ancestral Sonoran Desert People, offers an accessible interpretive trail where guests can view a va’aki (platform mound), uhdi vaup (ballcourt) and irrigation canals. Indoor exhibits feature artifacts from the site and two traveling exhibitions focused on water. Parched: The Art of Water in the Southwest utilizes art informed by scientific and cultural inquiry to explore the deep disparities of water use and access throughout the state of Arizona. Su:dagi/Shu:thag: Rekindling Our Connections examines the Akimel O’odham’s (River People) longstanding relationship with water and focuses on the intersection between the politics of water rights and the celebration of traditional agricultural knowledge. S’edav Va’aki Museum provides preservation, education, and collaborative interpretation of the cultural history of the Phoenix area and is managed by the City of Phoenix Arts and Culture Department. Check out www.phoenix.gov/SVmuseum or call (602) 495-0901 for more information about upcoming programs and events.

    The Piper Writers Studio (PWS) offers creative writing classes, workshops, and other educational opportunities for writers of all backgrounds, genres, and levels of experience.

    Our classes are intended for and open to the public. You do not need to be an ASU student to attend. Class sizes are kept small—usually between 8 and 16 students—in order to maximize the amount of instruction and to develop closer relationships between students, faculty, and the class as a whole. Individual classes range from single afternoons to multiple weeks. Classes are taught by local and visiting faculty and are offered at various times throughout the year.
